MIHNEA BOSTINA

Associate Professor of University of Otago

His research interests are in understanding molecular architectures and relating those structures to their functional mechanisms. To do this, we are employing cryo-electron microscopy and electron tomography combined with image analysis techniques.

ron geller

Professor of University of Valencia

His research interests are in RNA viruses. RNA viruses are responsible for many important human and animal infections. They cause tremendous global morbidity and mortality and include many emerging pathogens that could result in new pandemics, as happened with SARS-CoV-2. RNA viruses are unique, having generally small genomes and very high mutation rates that let them rapidly adapt to new environments. In the lab, we study different RNA viruses to better understand their biology and to identify new means of controlling virus infections.

xIAO-Nan li

Rachelle and Mark Gordon Professor of Cancer Research of Northwestern University

His research interest is in development of novel patient derived orthotopic xenograft mouse models, understand tumor biology and identify new diagnostic and/or therapeutic targets, perform comprehensive preclinical drug testing to establish preclinical rational for the initiation of clinical trials.

Charles Rudin

Physician-scientist Charles M. Rudin, Chief of the Thoracic Oncology Service

His research interests are on the development and testing of novel therapeutic approaches to lung cancer in preclinical models including patient-derived xenografts. These studies are integrated with early phase clinical trials.
